The handcrafted desk contrasts the rigorous surroundings, expressing the firm's design sensibilities while highlighting its commitment to craft and sustainability. The desk is made of salvaged local walnut, utilizes sustainably harvested and processed leather, and no mechanical connections are used - only wood joinery is employed save for the steel attachment. The piece is featured in an article about the design firm's building and office in the February, 2010 issue of METROPOLIS.
